We’re crushing hard. Our style stars have us gushing, and we’ve got to share.
Everyone has their top 10 (at least) “fashionistas” who have a huge influence on the way they dress.
Whether that influence be in the smallest way, from a certain hairstyle – such as a high pony, or fringe (Anna Wintour style) – to the way we like to carry our handiest companion (our handbags).
One of our favourite fashion “it” girls is Danielle Bernstein of WeWoreWhat. Having taken the street style world by storm a few years back, this fashion champion has been setting trends and making waves ever since. She has a knack for putting together some awfully easy looking cool-casual outfits, but we know that they definitely took some TLC to put together. Together with her blog, Danielle has permanently stamped her name in the fashion world.
When talking about serious style influencers, we could never go without mentioning one of the original fashion bloggers, and the woman who started a cult trend – Leandra Medine of Man Repeller. Until Leandra came along, no one did blogging like her, let alone fashion blogging.
A true industry leader, Leandra has always been willing to push the boundaries of what is acceptable in fashion. Man Repeller has become so popular that it almost a house-hold name – at least to anyone who has even a slight interest in fashion.
We can’t get enough of Medine’s alternative perspective. She always finds a way to repurpose garments that you may have only styled in a linear way. It’s always exciting when she’s around!
Speaking of different and quirky, that leads us onto our next inspiration. There really is no one quite like Anna Dello Russo. This fashion powerhouse blends her innate Italian fashion affinity, with the adventurous spirit of the Japanese fashion scene, where she heads up Vogue Japan as Editor-at-Large.
Known for her daring style combined with the runway’s most revered designs, Dello Russo is by far one of the strongest representations of how to wear fashion well.
Touching back on the Vogue alumni, another of our favourite fashionistas come straight from the inner-circle of the UK branch. Sarah Harris has long been one of British Vogue‘s most established fashion journalists.
A real pro at putting together some of the most understated, yet strong outfits, Sarah has made her mark on fashion by overseeing some of Vogue’s most powerful editorials.
Adding some French flare to the mix, another fashion “it” girl that we can’t get enough of recently, has got to be Caroline de Maigret. With her true Parisian style, she has a way of making all of her outfits look effortlessly cool.
The best thing about Caroline, is her unwavering ability to make it look like she just rolled out of bed, yet always looking that good naturally. Now that is fashion #goals.
Now, we couldn’t do a post about our fashion loves without mentioning our favourite far and beyond many others. Olivia Palermo. Just saying her name brings hearts to our eyes.
When we say that we have a crush, we mean we’re fully in love. There are very few people who know how to dress themselves as perfectly as Palermo. With a real penchant for exploring different shapes and styles, Palermo is a walking-talking clothes horse, and she’s one of the best at it.
We could look at her outfits all day and not get tired. That’s why we’re so glad that she always has something new to keep us going.
