A label is born, Tara Jarmon: elegant clothing, comfortable, colourful without ornaments,
sexy but never provocative, gorgeous decorative details: embroidery, a bow; sombre
cuts in soft and silky fabrics: muslin, silk, cotton, satin, velvet. A line adapted
to the modern women, stylish, sure of herself, full of energy and joy. Tara Jarmon,
where simplicity makes the woman. A label that is both "so" Parisian and Universal
at the same time.
With this infinite source of inspiration, the look is re-invented season after season,
romantic, sophisticated and alluring but undeniably refined. Tara Jarmon is a label
for which fantasy is a key word: mixtures of prints, fabrics and materials, cocktails
of colours and attention to every detail. A concentration of subtlety makes the
clothing fashionable and in touch with the styles of today. All those which have
passed through and which work in the company Tara Jarmon know: it is not a basic
label; it is a house of fashion. With its pattern makers, its designers, its quality
controllers, the experts in all areas are indispensable. Reminiscent of the traditional
designer houses all the team is integrated and takes part in the growth of the house.
The exclusive prints are drawn and developed in-house, the pieces are assembled
firstly in calico according to an "artisanal" know-how; the pleats, the constructions,
and the few centimetres which make the difference on a shoulder or a hip are adjusted
with the hand. Lastly, buttons, closures, finishings and accessories, all is thought
of here. The visions of Tara and David are shared amongst their teams with a real
passion.
The results of this creative effort, the feeling of work well done and the stores
all reflect the elegance and strong universe of the label.
With the privileged felt reception, the smile and advice of the saleswomen, a play
with colours and light, Tara and David manage to create a feminine atmosphere within
a refined space. They don't lose sight of that which they seek: elegant and discrete
jewel cases, an image captured from the rooms of the fashion houses in times gone
by. Where the boutique becomes a place for you, where personal attention is offered
and which makes all the difference to your experience.
By seeking excellence, by refining every garment to make it just right, the mix
of creativity and its accessibility, Tara Jarmon found its place in the landscape
of French fashion: thanks to the hundreds of hands which make its signature, it
obviously became a "petite Grande Maison".
One of Canadian origin, the young and charming Tara Jarmon chooses Paris to further
her studies. Where in, she meets David Jarmon, a business man, giving rise to a
project: a line of clothing. If it's him who takes the driving reigns, it's she
who imagines it, conceives it and gives it life, in deciding to combine their talents,
they create something new.
Giving her name as well as her spirit to the label, that is to say its cheerfulness,
its purity, its freshness and its spontaneity...
With her love of elegance and her refusal of standardization, she, the creator cultivates
the art of being oneself, taking as a starting point a nostalgic femininity without
being obsolete: drawing the essence of the label from the elegance of the film stars,
the pure simplicity "so chic" embodied by Audrey Hepburn. An allure imagined for
the likes of modern princesses, always stylish but never eccentric.
The fittings on live models make it possible for Tara to visualise the silhouette,
to work with its fluidity and how the garment falls on the body. A meticulous fold
here, a dart adjusted there, to emphasize the body and accentuate its femininity.
Exactly as seen in the couture houses.
It's during these essential meetings where the pattern makers and finishers combine
their know-how and with the expertise of the head of workshop, Tara validates the
fabrics and materials for each piece deciding how the garment will be completed
and where every tiny detail have a dominate place. The final stage of creation,
the "mix & match"
between the various pieces of the collection, the associations and outfits showing
the customer how to combine her own look, her desires and her way of being.
